Clint A. Langford is a native of rural Comanche County and a graduate of Elgin High School. 

 

Clint began his professional firefighting career in 1995 with Fort Sill Fire Department. Clint rose through the ranks achieving the highest rank in June 2011 when Clint was selected to be the Installation Fire Chief. As Fire Chief he was charged with oversight and coordination of the Installation’s fire protection and prevention operations. Services provided to include structural fire protection, wildland firefighting, aircraft rescue firefighting, technical rescue operations, fire prevention and education, hazardous material responses, medical/defibrillator services and Incident Command (IC) for all installation emergencies.

Clint is married to Melanie (Ford) Langford and they have three children: Collin (25) who is a Lawton Firefighter, Brook (19) attending Oklahoma State University and Caleb (9) who is attending Elgin Elementary School.
