Courthouse Closure Extended

Comanche County Elected Officials have decided to keep the courthouse closed for the remainder of January 2021. The courthouse closed at the end of business on November 24, 2020 due to an increase of Covid-19 cases in the county.

The department heads met for a meeting on the 15th to decide the immediate future for opening the courthouse. It was decided that the closure will remain in place until they reconvene to discuss a re-opening in February.

All offices are currently open for business via appointments. Appointments can be made in advance by calling the courthouse during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

At this time the Comanche County Courthouse will be closed on Monday, January 18 2021 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
