The Comanche County Juvenile Bureau of the District Court is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Juvenile Intake/Probation Officer.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in the behavioral sciences, criminal justice or related field.
Candidates should possess: intellectual depth, sound judgement, attention to detail, flexibility, excellent organizational skills, strong work ethic, integrity and an ability to work effectively with a diverse clientele.
Summary of Duties:
Intake/Probation Officers are appointed to serve the Juvenile Court. Duties include moderate social work, provide supervision of juveniles, courtroom security, transportation and some para legal work in support of the District Attorney and juvenile Court.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary commensurate with experience within statutory guidelines.
