Rhonda states the biggest accomplishment her office has made is upgrading the computer system which allows them to get out tax statements within a week after receiving the information. "While the county has grown and tax dollars have increased, we have shortened the time it takes to process tax payments apportioned to the schools, cities and towns to days, instead of weeks," says Brantley.
The City of Lawton Medicine Park Water Plant is now operational. City of Lawton officials have now lifted water conservation for all City of Lawton water customers.
County Fair Board hires new Director
Philip Humble has been offered the job of executive director of the Comanche County Fairgrounds for $48,000 a year plus standard employee benefits. Humble is currently the mayor of Chattanooga and the business manager of Comanche Enterprises Ltd., according to Ronnie Love, outgoing chairman of the Comanche County Fairgrounds Trust Authority.
